Parts: Microwave
I am need to add a bit more detail to this one, but thought it was neat to show. Texture had to be re-created from for the keypad.
I am taking on the task of modeling my house inside and out. My wife, daughter and I live in a townhome that has three levels. With this project I am looking to gain a bit of practice doing architectural modeling and brushing up on my rendering and lighting skills. For the final product I am looking to make it interactive with a walkthrough feature.
I am need to add a bit more detail to this one, but thought it was neat to show. Texture had to be re-created from for the keypad.
The oven came out pretty well. All textures were re-created in photoshop while referencing photos.
I ended up remodeling some of this from previous renders. New ice machine access, rubber seals, and updated mesh for top pivots.
An overview shot of where the kitchen stands so far. I was happy on how the stove door texture turned out. :)
After a long break, I was able to come in and texture the fridge, microwave and the stove. Still quite a bit of work left.
Nothing too exciting... but bathroom sink, toliet paper/holder and towel rack! Woot.
Left side view of the levels of the house. Most Trim, Doors and railings are in. But really closet doors, all sockets, vents and installed lighting is still left.
This will eventually be used as a navigation piece, but thought it was neat to see it in this break-out render.
The main update here is the railing on the second floor, added a stock floor and did some modeling on the fireplace piece.
I was able to squeeze in a toliet model today. They are lower poly then I believe is needed, but will log it for the clean sweep in the end.
Another angle of the kitchen progress. Ok last kitchen update for a bit. ;)
The red blocks represent the neighbor houses, and the green is place holders for greens. ;) Clean-up and addition of utility objects are left o model in this area.
All Kitchen appliances are modeled, and also added the patio blinds object. I am trying to work through the house quickly and will be doing a clean-up pass once the house is 90% blocked in.
Measured out the cabinets and placed those in there. Next is working to get the sink and appliances in place.
No much done in this area other then the stairs and railings are complete (which were fun ) and started to wrap some trim from the kitchen in.
I put some work on the siding, and front porch. There is nothing really mapped yet, but just working to get the overall structure in place.
This is the hallway just outside the basement office. This is showing that I added the front door module, trim, and sliding doors in this area.
I am starting to make my way to the second floor. I modeled the front door section, and railings. I need to add stairs, and final trim.
Similar Render as before, but just have the hallway items in place with lighting, and I added the outlets, and light switches.
Office rendering west wall - I have a weird highlight on the window that I am working on. This is also in the basement so I need bushes outside!
